Job Description
Looking for candidates with experiance:
- Manage day-to-day operations, provide guidance to another Mailroom Associate, and assist with training and development
- Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills. While the role begins with hands-on experience on the dock to learn operations, the worker will quickly transition into regular interaction with senior administrators and executive-level personnel. A strong customer service background and professional communication skills are essential for success in this position.
- This dual-role position supports both mailroom operations and facilities floor services across multiple buildings on the International Motors campus. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and customer-focused, with the flexibility to rotate between mailroom and facilities duties as needed.
Mailroom and Dock Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver incoming mail to employees and tenant buildings
- Process outgoing mail and manage FedEx/UPS shipments
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the facility receiving dock
- Pick up and deliver mail and packages across assigned buildings/floors
- Provide responsive service to mailroom inquiries via phone and email
- Track onboarding/offboarding for mail folder setup and workstation moves
- Comply with mailroom and dock safety protocols
- Pallet jack is requried
- Wear steel-toe shoes when working in dock areas
Facilities Floor Responsibilities
- Monitor and tidy copy rooms daily; restock paper and office supplies
- Track confidential shred bin pickup schedules
- Maintain conference rooms (clean whiteboards, restock markers, remove clutter)
- Assist with workstation moves and light-duty setups
- Respond to facilities service requests and perform minor maintenance tasks
- Support daily facilities operations through assigned tasks and troubleshooting
- Execute basic repairs and upkeep based on facilities team direction
- Change out and recycle printer toners
- Pick up and deliver file boxes for off site storage
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver s license and auto liability insurance required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter with sound decision-making abilities
