Mailroom & Print Services Associate
New Britain, CT (Onsite)
3+Month Contract

Seeking a flexible and customer-focused Area Customer Service Coordinator to support daily operations across multiple customer locations throughout Connecticut. This role supports managed service accounts by providing coverage for mailroom services, print production, reception, and general operational support as needed. The position requires frequent travel between sites, adaptability to different work environments, and a strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations for contracted services at multiple customer accounts within the assigned geographical area
  • Provide coverage for onsite staff absences, vacations, training, and implementations, including site management support when required
  • Perform mailroom services, print production, reception, and administrative support duties depending on site needs
  • Assist management with process improvements, procedural testing, validation, and compliance with operational best practices
  • Support implementation of new customer accounts and service expansions
  • Assist with onboarding and cross-training of team members
  • Help develop, maintain, and inspect Site Procedure Guides for accuracy and compliance
  • Perform daily visual inspections to ensure operational and safety compliance
  • Maintain a customer-focused environment and support customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with customers, end users, and management to resolve issues promptly
  • Escalate customer concerns to management and assist with issue resolution through completion
  • Collect operational data and support Monthly Operations Review reporting activities
  • Travel between customer sites throughout the workday, including same-day location changes if business needs require
  • Work in a variety of environments including legal, insurance, hospital (non-patient areas), and manufacturing facilities (non-machinery floors)
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 12 months of related work experience required
  • Post-high school education preferred
  • Valid, violation-free driver s license required
  • Reliable transportation and minimum auto insurance coverage required
  • Comfortable driving between locations throughout Connecticut, including travel up to 50 miles
  • Frequent local car travel required; mileage reimbursed at $0.72 per mile
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including file folder management and navigation of network production folders
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different customer environments and operational needs
  • Previous mailroom experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules; while standard hours are Monday Friday 8AM 5PM, some locations may require shifts starting as early as 6AM, ending after 7PM, or weekend coverage
  • Business casual dress code required, though some locations may be more casual
  • In-person interview required
  • No COVID requirements
  • One site location includes 1000 Stanley Drive, New Britain, CT 06053, with additional coverage across multiple Connecticut locations
  • Parking is either free or reimbursable depending on the site
