Role Descriptions:
Design| develop| maintain| and support mainframe applications. Work with technologies such as COBOL| JCL| DB2| VSAM| CICS. Perform analysis| coding| testing| and debugging of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts| QA| and production support. Perform batch processing and online transaction processing enhancements. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution. Participate in system upgrades| migrations| and modernization efforts. Follow SDLC processes including Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Ensure adherence to coding standards| security guidelines| and compliance requirements.
Required Skills Strong experience in: COBOL programming JCL (Job Control Language)DB2 (SQL| stored procedures)VSAM| CICS Experience in mainframe debugging and performance tuning Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g.| Control-M| CA7)Understanding of z/OS environment Good problem-solving and analytical skills
