Job description

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis

\n

Design develops test and maintain Mainframe applications

\n

Develop and enhance programs using COBOL CICS DB2 VSAM and JCL

\n

Create and maintain batch jobs procedures and utilities

\n

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects

\n

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

\n

Collaborate with business analysts QA teams and stakeholders during SDLC phases

\n

Support application deployments and postproduction activities

\n

Prepare technical design and support documentation

\n

\n

Required Skills

\n

Strong hands on experience in

\n

COBOL

\n

JCL

\n

DB2

\n

VSAM

\n

CICS

\n

Experience in application development enhancement and production support

\n

Strong debugging troubleshooting and problem solving skills

\n

Knowledge of SDLC Agile methodologies and release processes.

\n

Experience with IBM Mainframe environments zOS TSOISPF

\n

\n

Skills

\n

Mandatory Skills: Mainframe, DB2, COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM
