Mainframe Developer

Education

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor&039;s degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree.
  • Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
  • Minimum Required Work Experience: 8 years-of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.

Additional Job Description:

  • The position resides in the EDIG (Electronic Data Interchange Gateway) team working on the host side with a small team of developers. The position requires that the individual can pass a C-2 Security Clearance. We are looking for a self-starter and team player. The main software used in this position is COBOL (Mainframe, Micro Focus), CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, IBM Batch JCL, Easytrieve, Client Code Generator, Vendor Pricing Software, MS Office, and EDz vendor product for Client on non-host. The position works closely with the team lead on direction and job assignment. The position has on-call responsibilities in addition to the day-to-day responsibilities. The host side interacts with a non-host team and operations team in order to support the EDIG process managing healthcare claims.
