Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior-Level COBOL Software Engineer/Developer to work on enhancement, new development, and production support projects for a mission-critical Legacy Application—Vehicle Invoicing and Drafting (VI&D). VI&D is a Mainframe/COBOL Legacy application, over 50 years old, with both online and batch programs. The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented, and adept at developing solutions under pressure, balancing multiple projects with high standards of quality. Strong process discipline and Agile methodology experience are essential. Additionally, the role requires strong interpersonal skills to engage with business partners tactfully and handle challenging situations. Some familiarity with advanced technologies (such as Java and SAP) is desired.
