Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Rate: 50/hr

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and enhance complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of hands-on mainframe development experience and strong knowledge of CICS, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, TSO, and related mainframe tools.

The candidate should be comfortable working on large transaction-based systems, collaborating across technical and business teams, providing technical guidance, and driving application improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

10-15 years of experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

7+ years of experience developing and implementing enterprise applications.

Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

Strong DB2 database knowledge.

Experience with CICS and VSAM development.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Experience working with large transaction-based systems.

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

Experience with implementation and release management activities.

Experience writing technical designs and documenting technical functions.

Strong understanding of unit, system, and functional testing methodologies.

Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
