Job Summary:
In this contingent Software Engineering assignment, the mainframe developer will participate in and consult on moderately complex software engineering initiatives. The role includes evaluating technical challenges, contributing to large‑scale planning, and resolving issues requiring in‑depth analysis of variable factors. The engineer will collaborate with client personnel and deliver solutions that adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Candidates must have 4+ years of Software Engineering experience and strong mainframe technical expertise across COBOL, JCL, DB2, CA7, NDM, VSAM, CICS, and related IBM mainframe utilities. The role may also involve leveraging AI tools within the development lifecycle.
