Overview
We’re seeking a Mainframe Storage Administrator to support and modernize enterprise IBM z/OS storage environments. You’ll join an Operations organization focused on keeping daily operations running while improving reliability, utilization, and storage processes.
Required Experience / Education
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent: 6 years of relevant experience may substitute)
9+ years related IT experience
2+ years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent)
Preferred
Master’s degree
11+ years related IT experience
4+ years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent)
Required Technologies / Skills
IBM z/OS storage administration
Storage utilization and capacity reporting
DASD device initialization and configuration
DFSMSdss full-volume and logical dataset dump/restore
SMS administration:
Coding SMS ACS routines
Using ISMF to translate/validate/activate ACS routines
