Qualifications and Details about the Position

• Follow all safety rules and regulations • Work with craft Journeyman to learn proper tools and equipment to use for specified tasks • Learn and follow fire protection requirements • Assist craft Journeyman in assembly and work performance, including demolition, removing debris, building and grounds maintenance, handling trash • Assist craft Journeyman in maintenance and construction
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience in construction / maintenance industry
• Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to effecively communicate with other employees and supervision
• Meet customer language comprenension requirements for site safety standards
• Ability to interact and work well with others
• Aiblity read and follow instructions
• Ability to follow and understand direction from supervisor
• Ability to follow and understand all safety policies and procedures• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly without assistance
• Use hands/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position)
• Ability to move distances within & between warehouses/offices/field locations
• Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse)
• Ability to mount & dismount forklift and/or truck
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, or crawl (Position self (to), Move)
• Speak/hear (Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information)
• See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess, Color perception - red, green, amber)

• Ability to Drive (local/distance over road)
• Ability to work long hours and all shift schedules that may require up to 12 hours a day, seven days a week• Ability to meet and maintain customer requirements for site access
• Work in an indoor and outdoor environment including field, yard, shop locations, and office
• Necessary Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Travel as required
• Working at heights
• Must be able to work in all types of environments, extreme heat or cold
• Able to work in confined spaces
