Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace
Train new operators
Perform heat treat samples
Make minor repairs on the heat treat system
Must be able to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on the heat-treat system
Repair and/or make heat treat coils and fixtures
Run the heat treat if necessary
Always keep work area clean
Always work in a safe manner
Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read blueprints
Must be able to use measuring equipment
Must be able to work independently and with others
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 25lbs
Must be able stand continuously for 8 hrs - 12 hours
Must be able to bend and twist
Demonstrate dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
Ability to work in tight places
Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
Environmental Conditions:
Ear and Eye protection always required in production areas
Exposure to noisy work environment
Exposure to hot steel
Exposure to fumes
Exposure to hot and humid conditions
Exposure to welding arc
Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards always required
