The Willows at Ramapo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Aide to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

As a Maintenance Aide, you will assist with the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility

• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner

• Assist with painting, patching, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as assigned

• Maintain the grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces

• Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards

• Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and special projects

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance

• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
