Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

Applies principles of accounting to analyze maintenance financial information and prepares required reports. Provides support to maintenance department by reporting, analyzing, and researching financial information that support corporate objectives and business decisions. Work directly with engineering groups and provide test data for product evaluations and product enhancements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares, reconciles, and analyzes maintenance expense worksheets. Acts as Financial Advisor to Maintenance Managers.
  • Ensures integrity of General Ledger and Cost Centers by ensuring proper Chart of Account workflows between accounting and operation departments.
  • Compiles and prepares entries for cost reporting by equipment type.  Analyze monthly budgeted expenditures for the Maintenance Department.
  • Develops, Analyzes and Maintains databases/report designed for product evaluation.  Selects, approves, and implements maintenance related technology such as AI platforms necessary to support corporate objectives.
  • Maintains budget model using the appropriate software.  Assists managers in understanding expenses and developing budgeting plans.   Reviews projections monthly and suggest making appropriate changes.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training.  Ensure company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Prefer a four-year college degree with an emphasis in a related field to the position plus 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training and 0 – 12 months previous management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
