Maintenance and Custodial Worker

Position Overview: This role is responsible for ensuring facilities are clean, safe, functional, and secure. Primary duties include completing tasks outlined in building work plans. Lead Custodian responsibilities also include assigning and scheduling work, assisting with problem resolution, supporting grounds maintenance, performing custodial requests from administration and faculty, and completing quality control checks as directed.

Paid time off includes:

·         Vacation (10–15 days/year based on years of service)

Additional benefits include PSERS contributory pension and tuition reimbursement.

Compensation: Starting salary is $18.10/hour, with a guaranteed $1.25/hour increase effective July 1, 2027.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 12-month position (40 hours per week)

·         Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute duty-free lunch) 

·         Optional summer schedule: four 10-hour workdays (June – August).
