Maintenance and Facilities Manager

About The Role

Lead maintenance, facilities, and utilities operations to ensure optimal performance at our client’s Lexington site. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment uptime and developing long-term reliability strategies, contributing directly to site efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance and facilities team.
• Ensure equipment reliability and uptime performance.
• Drive troubleshooting and root cause problem solving.
• Build and manage the preventive maintenance (PM) program.
• Manage the CMMS system, including assets, PMs, WOs, and reporting.
• Oversee the full work order lifecycle from intake to closure.
• Manage building systems and utilities, ensuring reliable and compliant operations.
• Develop spare parts strategy and manage inventory levels.
• Oversee vendor and contractor management, including service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS, LOTO, and permit systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and support projects.
• Track and improve KPIs related to maintenance performance.
• Develop systems for maintenance governance and asset management.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in maintenance/facilities within manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in maintenance teams.
• Proficient with CMMS systems.
• Strong experience in PM programs and reliability.
• Experience with facilities/utilities systems.
• Preferred experience in regulated environments (GMP/FDA/food/pharma).
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance and reliability tools.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field preferred, or equivalent technical experience.
