Maintenance and Inspection Technician

Perform PV system maintenance, cleanings, visual inspection, specialty work such as bird abatement, gutter cleanings, and critter deterrent systems. Other general duties expected in this position are listed below.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Excellent customer service skills required.

• Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Experience setting up solar production monitoring equipment (SolarEdge, Enphase, etc.) is strongly desired.

• Experience with residential or commercial solar system installation is strongly desired.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to work at great heights.

• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.

• Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds at a time.

• Ability to work in the sun and high heat situations.

Education and Experience: 

• 1-2 years of solar panel cleaning experience is strongly desired.

• High school diploma or GED required.
