Maintenance and Project Technician
Catch Air is a larger-than-life indoor soft-play adventure park for children themed around a family. Each Catch Air park is filled with colorful murals, three dimensional thematic elements and giant play structures built around a maze of dizzyingly high and wildly twisting slides. There are dozens of activities inside the center that encourage physical, mental and social development through play. There are no electronic arcade games or ticket redemption windows to be found here. Catch Air is ALL about running, jumping, climbing, and sliding. Along the way kids learn how to play fairly, share and make new friends while challenging themselves physically and getting the exercise they need to be healthy.
The role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to keep our entertainment centers operating smoothly. This includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers. You are responsible for ensuring that the CatchAir facilities remains clean, safe, functional, and visually appealing for guests and team members. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness in all 4(Queens, Coney Island, East Meadow, Massapequa) of our New York stores located in Long Island.
Essential duties and responsibilities: - Preform routine repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Aid in developing and putting into operation a preventive maintenance program on all store operations.
- Trouble shoot and repair children equipment necessary to operations.
- Play equipment installation for new stores.
- Aid in maintaining an orderly and complete inventory of repair parts and supplies essential to plant operations.
- Identify and report repairs that need to be done on off production shifts.
- Evaluate assigned projects and determine supplies needed to complete.
- Perform all repairs in a sanitary manner with regard to catch air safety at all times.
- Look for ways to improve production efficiencies and report ideas to department heads.
- All duties requested by your direct supervisor or any upper member of management.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Update task and project tracking application accordingly.
- Travel between store will be required.
Qualifications:
- MUST have own reliable transportation and driver license.
- College degree in electric or general engineer is preferred, but high school diploma or equivalency with 2+ years of hand on maintenance experience will be required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all departments.
- Knowledge of safe operation of all hand tools and test equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Electric training and experience is a plus.
- Production and facility maintenance
- Trouble shooting and repair on machine control and operation circuits
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship for a visa or green card may be considered after six months of employment.
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25-$30/hr (Based on experience)
