Position Overview
We’re seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help with the upkeep of our cultivation facility. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on maintenance skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with general repairs, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep, ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Assist with routine inspections and minor repairs on cultivation equipment.
- Support maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and report any facility or equipment issues.
Building & Grounds Upkeep
- Perform basic repairs (e.g., drywall, plumbing leaks, light installations).
- Help maintain landscaping, weed control, and irrigation systems.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
General Support
- Work closely with the Maintenance Facility Manager on daily tasks.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled inspections.
- Safely use tools and equipment required for maintenance work.
Qualifications & Skills
️ Previous maintenance, handyman, or facility support experience preferred.
️ Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment troubleshooting.
️ Comfortable working indoor and outdoor in varying conditions.
️ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
️ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
️ Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
