Maintenance Assistant
We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Requirements:
- Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretations, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of elementary education, able to read, write, and follow oral and written instruction
- Must pass background and drug screen
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with residents, sponsors, visitors, and staff
- Positive attitude towards the elderly
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Maintenance Director in all functions of the Maintenance Department and ensuring the building and equipment are maintained to include preventative maintenance.
