The Avenue Care and Rehabilitation is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a comfortable environment for others, we’d love to have you on our team!

Job Duties:

• Assist with facility maintenance and repair tasks

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety protocols

• Operate and maintain equipment safely

• Report repair needs and supply shortages to supervisor

• Maintain documentation and safety logs

• Support infection control and waste disposal procedures

• Participate in safety drills and uphold Resident Rights policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred

• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions

• Comfortable working in a team and interacting with residents
