Maintenance Assistant

Hours
MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Overtime required Monday through Saturday (typically around 50 hours/week)
Saturday hours can vary
In rare cases, there may be a few weeks of night shift (not permanent)
If there is a major repair, you may need to stay longer than usual
Pay
$19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Pay is based on experience and skills
Key Responsibilities
Assist with a variety of plant and facility maintenance tasks
Follow instructions and work independently
Support repair activities as needed
Minimum Requirements
Welding experience (certification not required)
Knowledge of hand tools
Mechanical experience
Hydraulic experience is helpful
Nice to Have Skills
Manufacturing or plant maintenance background
Experience with hydraulic systems
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior maintenance or trade work experience
Other Requirements
On-site work only
Ability to work overtime and varied shifts when necessary
