Maintenance Assistant-Full Time

Amberwoods of Farmington seeks an excellent Maintenance Assistant join our team!

Our facility values our employees in a supportive, customer-service-oriented environment. We are located within proximity to I-84 and a fifteen-minute drive to downtown Hartford and on a bus line. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes repairs in the nursing facility timely and properly, including minor plumbing, limited electrical, wall repairs, minor mechanical and minor equipment repairs
• Completes preventative maintenance tasks as directed, per schedule
• Works on small renovation projects as needed
• Performs room changes

Qualifications

•        1 years of maintenance experience in skilled nursing facility or apartment building
• Very organized.
• Fast worker.
• Excellent customer service
• Good communicator
• Good at using technology – apps, programs, TV programming, etc
• Dependable with attendance
• Pass background check

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week, plus on any hours done on call
