Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues

• Assist in maintaining a safe and functional environment for residents and staff

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders

• Ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently

• Follow all facility safety procedures and maintenance protocols

• Support the Maintenance Director with daily projects and repairs

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant, maintenance technician, or related role preferred

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Day Shift

• Every Other Weekend Required

• Emergency On-Call Rotation Required
