Edenbrook Sheboygan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment.
Position: Maintenance Assistant
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with some flexibility if needed
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct painting and drywall repairs as needed to maintain the appearance of our facilities.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory levels.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Experience with minor plumbing, painting, fixing things, hanging things, minor electrical, lawn mowing, some minor snow removal, etc. is required.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific expertise in painting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
- A valid and active driver's license, preferably class D or CDL.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
