Maintenance Associate (Entry Level)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Equipment Technician will maintain the functionality, productivity, and reliability of manufacturing equipment in production, warehouse, and shipping department.  Salary $22/hr-$26/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitors equipment performance to ensure they are functional.
• Performs preventative maintenance following PM schedule.
• Set ups, fine tunes, troubleshoots, and repairs in accordance with manuals, wiring diagrams, manufacturer’s specifications, or technical support.
• Utilizes proper tools, fixtures, or jigs to repair manufacturing related equipment.
• Follows company safety procedures and 5S requirements.
• Communicates effectively with vendors and suppliers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

• Principles of mechanics and electricity
• Safety practices and procedures
• Basic electronic and electrical circuitry
• Read, understand, and follow manuals, manufacturer specifications, and diagrams
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic computer usage
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40lbs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Certificate from a vocational school or community college, or equivalent experience in Electronics’ and Manufacturing or related field is required
