Description:
This position requires maintenance activities including:
Must occasionally assist with basic mechanical tasks, and other maintenance repairs and methods.The applicant shall be able to take directions from supervision and be self-driven to work to assist in reaching goals as defined in our PM Program.Install, assemble, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.Lay out, position, align, and fit, components according to project requirements.Inspect equipment for wear, damage, corrosion, and structural integrity.Perform maintenance and repairs during planned outages and turnarounds.Operate cutting, grinding, rigging, and lifting equipment safely.Conduct hydrostatic and pressure testing on completed work.Follow all company, site, and regulatory safety procedures.Document maintenance, repair, and installation activities.Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years hands on craft experienceA good technical working knowledge of pressure vessels, boilers, and industrial maintenance practices.Exhibits mechanical aptitudeThe ability to input data into computer software.Must be proficient in repairing equipment to OEM tolerances.Complete detailed formsTroubleshoot and assist in determining root cause.Must have skills to communicate repair to supervisor and to follow up with documentation as necessary.Must possess skills in cutting, fitting, and fabrication techniques.Basic knowledge of SAP, or ability to learnMust be willing and able to participate in weekly call-out rotationOther duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
NCCER Boilermaker certification or equivalent.Experience in industrial, chemical, refinery, paper mill, power generation, or manufacturing environments
