Maintenance Chief

DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Chief to join a dynamic team.  Working Location: Davenport, IA. Pay: $35hr - $42hrShift: Dayshift, M - FBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidaysResponsibilities: Be on time and have excellent attendanceMeet or exceed plant up-time goal of 98%Maintain building call response time of 2 minutes or lessActively patrol assigned building to proactively address equipment issuesReport all major issues to Chief Engineer and Production Manager. Assist with resolutionEstablish and maintain positive working relationship between building maintenance crew and production teamCompletion at 100%Other duties as needed or assignedFollow all company safety rulesBe able to work well with a diverse workforceFollow all company policies and proceduresPossess and maintain a positive attitudeBe able to work past the schedule, as issues may ariseThis position may at times be physically demanding. Lifting and moving of objects heavier than 50lbs can be expected regularlyThe plant environment may be quite warm during certain times of the year. Ability to walk and stand for entire shift is necessaryRequirements: Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or commercial laundry environment with 24/7 operationsStrong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical componentsAbility to safely operate forklifts, previous certifications helpful but not required. We offer training & certificationExperience working with three-phase electrical systems requiredAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprintsPhysical ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces safelyDesired Skills:Experience working with gasket installation & replacementFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Experience working with conveyor systems and industrial pumps in a manufacturing settingFamiliarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systemsKnowledge of mechanical systems maintenance including gasket replacement and alignment proceduresDemonstrated ability to work flexible hours including overtime to support production needsBasic welding or fabrication skillsOnce you apply, please text "MC" to 904-712-6140 for a faster reply. INDH
