Maintenance Chief

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the maintenance operations of our Commercial Laundry facility located in Brownstown Charter Township, MI. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and machinery function efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that all work meets the highest standards. Additionally, you will develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure proper maintenance and servicing of all equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery function efficiently and effectively.
• Minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians. A strong understanding of maintenance procedures and best practices is essential, along with the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with other departments and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electrical and PCM.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques.
