Job Description

Summary

Assists technicians with general maintenance work on a variety of facilities equipment and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

+ Assists with general maintenance work to develop maintenance skillset.

+ Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance (PM’s) and client/proactive work orders.

+ Performs general housekeeping duties in the work areas and shop.

+ Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs.

Education & Experience

+ Education: must be enrolled in applicable degree program at RCTC and be eligible for Employer Co-op opportunities

+ Ability to complete heavy physical labor (pushing, pulling, lifting objects up to 50 lbs.)

+ Have basic knowledge of air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, plumbing, chilled water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment.

+ Have basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and tools

+ Appropriate communication skills

+ Ability to interface with customers as needed

+ Basic computer skills
