About the Role

Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join their team in North Carolina. In this role, you will help ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the fleet by coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and providing real-time technical support. Qualifications

  • Current Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required

  • Experience supporting Class III ACMP, including generating and managing maintenance documentation

  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, aircraft records, and technical procedures

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills


Key Responsibilities

  • Log, track, and update all open discrepancies for on-line aircraft

  • Assist with troubleshooting and process parts requests as needed

  • Receive, review, and ensure accuracy of maintenance paperwork from line stations

  • Maintain real-time aircraft status updates in company systems

  • Issue and monitor DMI, MCO, and NEF items

  • Issue Special Flight Authorization Forms

  • Coordinate personnel and parts movement to support operational needs

  • Oversee mechanical delays to ensure safe and efficient resolution

  • Verify all work is completed and aircraft are returned to service in compliance with company and FAA standards

  • Investigate discrepancies and schedule required maintenance to ensure timely completion

  • Review aircraft records prior to release

  • Manage Maintenance Critical Alerts

  • Ensure compliance with required inspections before aircraft dispatch

  • Maintain accurate fleet status and communicate updates to relevant teams
