GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION: The Maintenance Custodial Technician performs both custodial and basic maintenance duties to ensure campus facilities are clean, safe, and in good working condition. This role supports daily operations by essential facility services and minor repairs.
Major Responsibilities:

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Compensation: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Lifting and Carrying:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Heavier lifting or movement tasks should be done with assistance.
Stair and Ladder Use:
Move safely up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders as part of the work.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to travel to various campus buildings using College vehicles.
Must hold or be able to obtain an valid Indiana driver's license.
Physical Stamina:
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and flexible to adapt to changing tasks and environments.
Significant physical effort is required, including heavy lifting, bending, twisting, and working in various environmental conditions (hot and cold).
