Maintenance/Custodian. Full time. Second shift/weekends

This position supports the work at the JCC, a leading nonprofit cultural, educational\n \ncenter offering exceptional programs, classes and special events designed to enrich\n \nthe mind, body and spirit. Including: cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, mopping,\n \ndusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting\n \nset up, pool cleaning, snow removal, grounds keeping, and other related\n \nresponsibilities.\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n \nKeeping the JCC clean and attractive by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintaining upkeep for assigned areas and equipment.\n \nMain responsibilities include wet mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, pool cleaning, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with\n \nlawn care and snow removal, and general cleaning.\n \nOperating related motorized and non-motorized equipment.\n \nRecord and report all needed repairs; perform repairs as directed.\n \nMake sure the JCC building and outdoor property is secure, constantly check for trash, any broken playground pieces and other duties during your shift and\n \nreport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.\n \nReplace soap, paper towels, and other supplies.\n \nSetup and break down areas before and after meetings, events and other activities.\n \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n \nAbility to work independently and as a team member to complete assignments .\n \nAvailable to work on weekends.\n \nAvailable to work overtime as necessary. \n \nAbility to lift 50 lb.\n\n
