SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Located just outside of Seattle, WA,Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) was founded in 1949, and is the only public institute of technology in the state of Washington. LWTech offers 12 bachelors degrees, 42 associate degrees, and 70 professional certificates in 41 areas of study, including STEM-focused programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.LWTech serves the Eastside and is located within the city of Kirkland, which is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Washington. Summary of Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, perform a blended role of custodial services and facilities systems support. Providing a wide range of custodial and groundskeeping support services to maintain cleanliness and care of college facilities and grounds, events and programs. Engaging with maintenance systems, data management, and preventive/predictive maintenance activities. Supports the college's transition toward data driven facilities operations by monitoring, documenting, and improving asset performance and maintenance practices.

Compensation & Work Schedule
This is a 40 hour per week position. This is a union covered position. As defined by the current classified bargained agreement, newly hired employees shall be placed between Step 1 $4,654 and Step 5 $4,940 of the salary schedule in Appendix A of the IUOE Bargaining Agreement. Ongoing (Step 6- Step 11) step advancement is defined by the IUOE bargained agreement. Salary placement for current IUOE employees is per the IUOE bargained agreement.
