Custodian
Responsibilities:
- Must be physically able to perform maintenance.
- Must possess a driver's license.
- Responsible for maintenance of the district buildings and grounds, and the supervision of the evening custodial staff within the district.
- Maintenance includes but is not limited to; general repair, mechanical, electrical, facility carpentry and plumbing.
- Building management system controls and HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Makes inspections of all buildings and reports issues.
- Maintains inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies.
- Availability for emergency work/calls as necessary.
- Must be present for snow removal operations in the district. Experience with snow blowers, salters and plowing a plus.
- Assists with setting up and breaking down after-school events, summer stripping and waxing, and covering custodial sections.
- Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
Schedule:
- Fulltime
- 8-hour shift
- Monday-Friday
- Second shift
Education:
- High School or equivalent (required)
- Trade certification (preferred)
- Black Seal
Experience:
- School custodial experience
- School maintenance experience
Salary Range:
$40,000 to $60,000 pending experience
