Maintenance Department Clerk | Full-Time | $17-$19/hour (based on experience)

Location: Nacogdoches Medical Center - South Campus, 4920 NE Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches, TX 75965

Schedule: Generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on business needs.

(VRI), a leading healthcare facilities management company, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Maintenance Department Clerk to support our Maintenance & Engineering team. Key responsibilities include:

• Receive, enter, assign, track, and close maintenance work orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests via phone and email
• Follow up on open work orders and customer satisfaction surveys
• Generate reports and maintain departmental records and documentation
• Order supplies, as requested
• Assist with regulatory and compliance documentation, as needed
• Provide general administrative support to department leadership
• Cross-trainas backup support for other administrative functions as needed
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of administrative, clerical, or office support experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to type 30-40 WPM (skills assessment required)
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage frequent interruptions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a maintenance, facilities, engineering, or service department
• Experience with work order systems, purchasing, or invoice processing
• Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail
