Maintenance Director Fridley

Full-Time Maintenance Director position at the Estates at Fridley

The Maintenance Director is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies, ordering and requisitioning supplies and equipment as needed. They perform regular scheduled maintenance checks and documents them and assigns tasks to assistant if applicable. The position evaluates efficient operation of all systems and equipment and makes changes as needed.

Qualifications:

Must have:

• Must have thorough knowledge of general maintenance, such as: boilers, heating and air conditioning units, refrigerators and freezers, electrical wiring, etc.
• Boiler license is required.
• Must possess leadership ability and the ability and willingness to cooperate and communicate with all staff and Department Directors.

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
• Minnesota Engineer-Class C license is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and have completed the 12th grade of High School.
• Two (2) years of experience in maintenance and power plant work is desirable.
