CountryHouse in Omaha, NE, an Agemark Senior Living community, is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Director to take ownership of our building, grounds, equipment, and overall maintenance operations.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician, facilities professional, maintenance supervisor, or building engineer who is ready to take the next step, or an experienced maintenance leader who still enjoys working with their hands.
Senior living experience is not required. If you have strong maintenance skills, take pride in your work, and enjoy being the person others can count on, we want to hear from you.
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
On-call availability for urgent maintenance needs
Manager on Duty rotation approximately every 7th weekend
Troubleshoot & Repair – Handle day-to-day maintenance involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures, and general building repairs.
Own Preventative Maintenance – Stay ahead of issues through routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Keep the Property in Great Shape – Maintain our building, resident apartments, grounds, equipment, and community vehicles.
Lead Your Team – Provide direction and support to Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry team members.
Manage Vendors & Projects – Coordinate outside contractors, repairs, inspections, and larger maintenance projects when needed.
Put Safety First – Help oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, inspections, and building requirements.
Prepare Resident Apartments – Make sure apartments are clean, safe, functional, and ready for new residents.
Solve Problems – Respond to maintenance requests and find practical solutions that keep our community running smoothly.
Hands-on experience in building maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, HVAC, construction, or a related field.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle a variety of repairs.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong organization and the ability to prioritize repairs, preventative maintenance, projects, and vendor needs.
Dependable, approachable, and comfortable working around residents and team members.
Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and the Manager on Duty rotation.
