Maintenance Director

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our Long Term Care Facility in Trenton, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance management, with specific experience using TELS (Total Equipment Lifecycle System) to ensure efficient and compliant maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all maintenance activities within the long term care facility to ensure a safe, clean, and operational environment.
• Utilize TELS software to schedule, track, and document maintenance tasks and equipment lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to address maintenance needs promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Director or similar role in a Long Term Care Facility or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in using TELS or similar maintenance management software.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or relevant degree preferred.
