A well-established industrial manufacturing facility in the Cedar Park/North Austin area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support plant operations and production equipment. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with strong industrial electrical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level electrical knowledge, experience working with 3-phase power and 480V systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, plant equipment, and production machinery
Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, and related equipment
Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment, hand tools, and electrical schematics
Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase power systems, transformers, PLCs, motor controls, and related components
Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and other electrical systems
Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, code concerns, and needed repairs
Perform continuity and safety testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner
Follow all required safety procedures and comply with OSHA standards
Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent journeyman-level experience strongly preferred
Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of 480V systems, 3-phase power, PLC troubleshooting, and motor control circuits
Minimum 2+ years of related electrical maintenance experience preferred
Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and support production needs
Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
