· Knowledge of VFD drives
· Knowledge in 3 phase 480v/220v …. single phase 220v, 110v circuits
· Knowledge in 24v 12v DC controls/Power supplies
· Knowledge in A/C motor controls
· Knowledge in D/C control circuits
· Knowledge of NEC code (Beneficial)
· Knowledge of HMI’s
· Knowledge of Moto man Robotics (Beneficial)
· Ability to bend conduit (beneficial)
· Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, and electric meters to perform duties
· Possess a strong understanding of electrical safety/safety rules in an industrial setting
· Possess strong communication skills
· Must be able to work overtime and some weekends
· Must provide own basic hand tools
· Must have minimum 5 years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial environment
· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, electrical symbols and electrical code specs. to determine layout of electrical installations and to effectively troubleshoot
· Plan, install, and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment including:
o Process controls
o Control centers
o Panels
o Flow Meters
o Relays
o Switches
o Sensors
o Proximity Sensors
o Circuit Breakers, Overloads & Heaters
· Install, troubleshoot, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduit, coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
· Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
· Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
· Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
· Install, maintain and calibrate scales, instrumentation, and related devices
This role is part of our maintenance department. The person that fills this role will assit in the daily operations of keeping the plant running and operating efficently.
