The Vacancy, Basic Function, Minimum Qualifications THE VACANCY: This recruitment is open and promotional, meaning all are welcome to apply and current employees in permanent positions are eligible to receive seniority credit and promotional placement once passing all exams. There is currently one vacancy in the Maintenance and Operations Department (8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 12 months per year). Please apply online at www.schooljobs.com/careers/nmusd. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance and Operations, perform journey-level electrical and specialized work involved in the installation, maintenance, repair, and alterations of various District electrical systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved apprenticeship program in field of specialty and four years journey-level electrical experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver s license.
