Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join an industrial manufacturing operation in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, controls, motors, and production equipment to help keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has at least 23 years of industrial electrical experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and hands-on experience running conduit, pulling wire, and working from electrical schematics. Mechanical troubleshooting and PLC/HMI experience are highly preferred.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 23 years of industrial electrical experience
Experience running conduit and pulling wire
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with production personnel
Ability to participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, controls, motors, and production equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using testing equipment, schematics, technical information, and operator feedback
Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit
Pull, route, splice, and terminate electrical wiring
Connect equipment, electrical components, and grounding leads
Install, test, repair, and calibrate electrical and electronic equipment and controls
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Assist with new equipment installations, rebuilds, upgrades, and facility improvement projects
Respond to production equipment failures and help minimize downtime
Support preventive maintenance and electrical safety programs
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency
Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other maintenance personnel
Accurately document completed maintenance activities and work orders
Follow all company electrical and workplace safety procedures
Electrical & Technical Experience
Candidates should be comfortable working with:
Industrial electrical wiring and circuits

Electrical control systems
Conduit bending and installation
Wire pulling, splicing, and terminations
Electrical testing equipment
Production machinery
Electrical and electronic controls

Blueprints and electrical schematics

Mechanical troubleshooting experience
PLC troubleshooting experience
HMI experience
Manufacturing or industrial facility maintenance experience
Preventive maintenance experience
Equipment installation and startup experience
Experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical production equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout a 10-hour shift on concrete flooring
Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, and climbing
Ability to work in confined, restricted, or awkward positions
Ability to safely work at heights up to 40 feet
Ability to regularly lift and carry 550 lbs
Ability to carry a tool pouch or backpack weighing approximately 1830 lbs
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Comfortable working around moving machinery and energized equipment
Ability to tolerate hot summer temperatures and cold winter conditions
Comfortable working in a high-noise industrial environment
Required PPE
Safety glasses with side shields
Hearing protection
Steel-toe leather work boots or shoes
Additional PPE as required for assigned electrical work
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and maintenance environment
Regular work around energized electrical systems, production machinery, motors, controls, and industrial equipment
Combination of scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs
Work may involve heights, confined spaces, temperature extremes, and high-noise production areas
Rotating weekend on-call availability required to support urgent maintenance needs
