Position Summary
Quality Process Services (QPS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support inland oil and gas production operations in Cocodrie, Louisiana. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable facility operations.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor control centers (MCCs), breakers, lighting, and electrical distribution equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters and other testing equipment.
Complete maintenance records and work orders.
Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience troubleshooting 480V industrial electrical systems preferred.
Experience with industrial motors, MCCs, control circuits, and electrical distribution systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Oil & gas or industrial facility maintenance experience.
TWIC Card.
NCCER Electrical Certification or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Climb ladders and stairs.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work overtime as needed.
