Position SummarySupport maintenance and upgrades to production and packaging equipment.Shift3rd shift, Monday–Friday from 10:45 pm to 7:15 am and some weekends if needed.Essential DutiesSupport the installation and maintenance of production and packaging equipment.Perform and support mechanics in routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting on‑site repairs.Provide technical support and training for maintenance personnel and equipment operators.Lead equipment and process continuous improvement projects.Ensure that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime.Lead and/or assist with developing and implementing operational excellence initiatives.Lead maintenance/ops technicians in setting up, reviewing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, practices, and equipment.Write, lead, and participate in quality investigations.Support equipment qualification.Adhere to all safety and cGMP regulations and procedures.Position RequirementsAny equivalent combination of education, training and experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.Education / Certification / ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of three years of packaging and/or production experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesKnowledge of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), FDA, OSHA and related regulations.Working knowledge of and experience with electrical troubleshooting.Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer or equivalent.Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.Working knowledge of automation and controls—hardware and software.Ability to read system schematics.Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.Ability to work with heavy equipment.Proficiency in English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Proficient at communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Physical Demand RequirementIncumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching, climbing and walking, monitoring vision, and occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.Incumbents may be exposed to toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, and dangerous tools and equipment.Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.BenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package, including the following:Comprehensive health insurance: medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage beginning on the first day of employment for the employee and eligible dependents.Retirement savings: 401(k) with employer match up to 6% and an annual 3.75% defined contribution.Paid time off: vacation, sick/safe time, caretaker time, and holidays.Life and disability protection: company‑paid life and disability insurance.Additional benefits include an employee assistance program, employee stock purchase plan, tuition assistance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, life style spending account, volunteer time off, paid parental leave (if eligible), family building benefits, virtual physical therapy, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurances, identity theft protection, legal plan, voluntary life insurance, and long‑term disability.Equal Employment Opportunity CommitmentTeva Pharmaceuticals is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
