Maintenance Engineer – Hotel Valley Ho The Maintenance Engineer is an hourly staff position within the Engineering department at Hotel Valley Ho. The main focus of this role is to perform preventive and/or unscheduled maintenance on all hotel building systems and mechanical equipment. The engineer will respond to guest requests and assist as directed by the Assistant Chief or Director of Engineering.Schedule Tuesday & Wednesday: 2:30pm – 11:00pm | Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 7:00am – 3:30pm.Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on building systems and mechanical equipment.Assist guests with service requests as needed.Use and learn computer‑based systems such as energy management, electronic key, CMMS, and HVACR controls.Work frequently with electrical circuits, plumbing systems, and power and hand tools.Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude, ensuring work is completed on time and to satisfactory standards.Qualifications Proficient written, verbal, and spoken communication in English.Ability to follow instructions and act proactively.Previous resort maintenance or similar experience preferred.Proven mechanical aptitude in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, commercial food equipment, or building construction/repair.Basic understanding of Windows® based computer systems (Word, Excel, etc.) or willingness to learn.Compensation & Benefits Actual compensation is based on factors such as skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and location.
