Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
Your morning starts with a scan of overnight CMMS entries before attending the team"s daily standup - prioritizing equipment issues against production schedule and coaching a tech through a PLC fault. By mid-morning, you"re deep in root cause analysis on a recurring fault, coordinating with the OEM vendor on parts.
After lunch, you"re reviewing SCADA alarm trends, updating dashboards, and drafting a process improvement plan. You wrap up in a cross-functional sync with Production, aligning on priorities that keep the line running.
No two days look the same, but every day balances hands-on problem solving with strategic thinking.
