    Description

    Position Overview
    This position consists of performing engineering activities in order to maintain plant equipment and facilities. Maintenance engineers are required to understand and utilize their own skills and knowledge about manufacturing processes, equipment/facilities, and maintenance. They are a part of maintenance manager and will work with other maintenance team members and may also collaborate on daily activities with other organizational members.

    Responsibilities
    -Perform typical maintenance tasks (troubleshooting, engineering, project controls, etc.)
    -Execute any required safety assessments
    -Manage schedule to meet targets/due dates for each assignment
    -Summarize work results and record each accomplishment
    -Procure tools and equipment
    -Report and document
    -Control spare parts
    -Evaluate and solve equipment issues
    -Diagnose causes of breakdowns
    -Manage emergencies and unplanned repairs
    -Utilize the Essential Asset system to complete work orders
    -Delineate technical specifications for equipment and projects
    -Evaluate quotes
    -Evaluate KPIs, budgets, and cost saving measures, process improvements, safety, etc.

    Requirements
    -Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or an equivalent education
    -2 years of engineering and over 3 years of equipment maintenance experience
    -Experience in chemical manufacturing industry preferred.
    -Manufacturing processes and equipment/facilities and Mechanical or electrical design, components, and theories
    -Able to read mechanical or electrical drawings, symbols, and calculations
    -AutoCAD and other tools preferred
    -Knowledge of PLC, Electrical components, sequences, and schematics preferred
    -MS Office Excellent Level for both Excel & Power Point required.
    -Ability to collaborate in a team, actively learn and listen, exhibit critical thinking, and have a professional business attitude
