The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineering Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 15+ years of engineering and maintenance experience within food manufacturing or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Significant leadership experience managing maintenance, engineering, reliability, and facilities functions.
- Strong experience with TPM, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering methodologies.
- Demonstrated success managing capital projects and large-scale facility or equipment upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience using CMMS/EAM systems and leveraging maintenance data to improve performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Background in wastewater treatment, utilities management, or sustainability programs.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience implementing digital maintenance tools and predictive maintenance technologies.
