Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Salary up to $150,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Northeast

We are recruiting for a visible Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering for a 24/7 heavy industry manufacturing operation. This is a small plant. This position is for someone that likes to mentor, train, plan and be involved in daily maintenance operations.

You’ll drive safe, efficient performance of equipment, finishing systems, and critical utilities utilizing a skilled technical team and pushing continuous improvement.

As theMaintenance & Engineering Manager, your focus will be:

·Champion safety and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor programs

·Lead maintenance and reliability Programs

·Maximize uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

·Use CMMS to plan and prioritize work aligned with production

·Guide and mentor mechanics, electricians, and technicians through training and development

·Lead outages, shutdowns, and capital projects

·Provide mechanical, electrical, and automation technical leadership

·Control budgets and manage critical spare parts strategy

·Oversee vendors, OEMs, and contractors for quality and compliance.

Minimum requirements for this Maintenance & Engineering Manager’s position:

·BS Mechanical Engineering preferred

·Minimum of 8 years in heavy manufacturing industry

·Leadership experience in a unionized setting

·Strong knowledge of mechanical / reliability practices

·Working knowledge PLC/DCS systems, and Lean tools.
