    About the Role

    As a CBRE Maintenance & Events Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and event activities for assigned facilities. This role combines facilities coordination with event planning and execution responsibilities to ensure an exceptional workplace experience for employees, guests, and clients.

    The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance activities, vendor services, facility requests, and event logistics while maintaining a safe, professional, and operationally efficient environment. This job is part of the Facilities Management function and is responsible for supporting building operations, workplace services, and onsite events.

    What You'll Do

    • Coordinate routine maintenance activities, work orders, and facility service requests.
    • Monitor building conditions and communicate maintenance needs to internal teams and service providers.
    • Schedule and oversee vendors performing repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and facility-related services.
    • Assist with facility inspections to identify and address operational issues proactively.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor performance, and service completion.
    • Support workplace experience programs and special events from planning through execution.
    • Coordinate event logistics including room reservations, catering, audiovisual requirements, furniture setup, signage, and visitor management.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure event spaces are prepared, functional, and aligned with client expectations.
    • Track event schedules, budgets, invoices, and service requests.
    • Monitor inventory levels for office, event, and facility supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
    • Support health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
    • Respond to urgent facility issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, occupants, vendors, and service partners.
    • Follow established policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
    • Apply standard organizational practices and procedures to complete assignments.
    • Work within established guidelines and recommend process improvements when opportunities are identified.
    • Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

    What You'll Need

    • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, event coordination, hospitality, workplace experience, property management, or related field.
    • Experience coordinating vendors, service providers, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
    • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience utilizing work order, facilities management, or event management software preferred.
    • Ability to exercise judgment based on established procedures and available information.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or special events as business needs require.
    • Ability to perform physical activities associated with event setup, including moving materials and lifting up to 25 pounds.
